Adnams redesign mini keg range
Early this year Adnams invested in a re-brand. We now supply the new designs for Broadside and Southwold Bitter mini kegs with Ghostship soon to follow.
The new designs from Brighton based design agency Cookchick are created from paintings by landscape artist Vanessa Sorboen. The large printable area of a mini keg really lends itself well to feature works of art, don’t you agree?
Adnams began using mini kegs before I joined the company. Dad acquired the agency agreement for Envases mini kegs in the UK and Ireland in 2000 and he subsequently visited many breweries with samples in hand.
Dad met with then head brewer Dr. Mike Powell-Evans, who saw the potential for offering a quality take home draught experience to his customers.
Initially they were filled with cask conditioned ales in our neutral mini kegs by the pallet load. The product grew off sales through their cellar and kitchen shops and the decision was made to get them custom printed. A shiny 4 head semi automatic filler soon followed and is still in good working order today.
Adnams mini kegs are available from their popular visitor centre in Southwold as well as 12 other Cellar and Kitchen stores across the UK, in regional Tesco supermarkets and various independent stores including the famous ‘Roys of Wroxham’.
If you would to learn more about custom printed mini kegs for your beer or cider, please contact Jayne who will be pleased to go through the printing options.
